Recurrences

Since I am in the midst of a cycle of recurrence and treatment, I'm wondering how many others are out there like me. Anyone else in the sacral group dealing with 3+ recurrences? Mine seem to be happening every couple of years (so far).

In one year, my husband has had two surgeries and still has residual tumor according to a TAC that made him a day after his second surgery, and no one has had more treatment, we do not know what to do?, Since we have the economic resources to pursue other options, but it would be helpful to know if there are institutions or NGOs that can help

Nury: Right now, the number of users in this community has dropped significantly. It's my fault: I need to add a better notification system for new posts.

Has he already had radiation? Have you contacted any of the clinical trials listed on the Chordoma Foundation's website: http://www.chordomafoundation.org/treatment/clinicaltrials.aspx

My mother had 2 nd recurrence.as the tumor is too big for cyberknife docs did Debulking 2 wks ago.she recovered from surgery.Docs now recommending imatinib therapy.i don't know whether that is a good option or not but we have to do something to stop this tumor growing.
If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.
