I was diagnosed with Sacral Chordoma around May 2010 though I carry symptoms for a while. I am a nanotechnologist working with some pioneer neurosurgeons at The Northwestern University!! still this cancer slips away the eyes of the best professionals we have here in Chicago. After diagnosis I contacted Chordoma Support Group at Yahoo and specially my mentor Sharon/NYC who encouraged and educated me to reach right decision and connected me to right peoples such as Rob/Yale.

After deciding to go for my surgery at Hopkins by a Team of spine surgeon Drs. Wolinsky and Gokaslan I met another angel Shane Knee/Baltimore. These people put me together and helped me undergo surgery and deal with this new body that I have today. I spent almost 3 months in hospital due to complications out of which 2 months were in ICU. Thanks to Shane who cautioned me about the care at recovery rooms and handling with insurance.

I am still fighting with my illness, to get my job back and with insurance negligence but am happy with my current situation and my anchor my brave wife Kavita who's smile make me feel the most gifted person in this world. This is all because of the above-mentioned *invisible hands of God *.
